OVERVIEW
With the world "tape" we indicate a very big amount of products, from the one that we use every day at our desk to the textile reinforced one.
But, when we speak about sealing tape in the luxury packaging context, we are talking about the thermoadhesive sealing tape.
A special category of tape, that is formed by a base of paper (kraft) covered with glue (EVA), that can stick only if melted at a certain temperature.
To match the request of his customers, SATE has started to produce his own line of sealing tape to ensure the best service for the real box makers.

Where is sealing tape
used?
The Sealing tape is used in the various quadstayer machines like the SLine-QS.
This type of machines has the job to form the box starting from a sheet of cardboard (compressed or even microwave) properly cut, and seal it in the corner using a sealing tape.
It is done with four forming heads that bend the cardboard and, using a mechanical system, put the sealing tape streight to the corner of the box.
It's easy to understand that the strength of the corner of the box is the strength of the sealing tape.

of sealing tape?

Here we have the High grammage and reinforced sealing tape to ensure the strength of the box that you want.

But sometimes the strength is not the most important thing, because of that we have the low grammage range, the thinest one, that you will not see thru the wrapping paper.

All the products are sold in coils of 380 mm to guarantee to you a long production without changing the coils.
With a width of 19 mm and 22 mm, that you can chose the one that matches your production and your machine*.
This type of tape is often used for the production of luxury packaging.
